Finding Us & Accessibility

If you are not familiar with the area it might feel a bit daunting trying to find us. To try help out we have put together some instructions on getting to us. However if you are still not sure or have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask and we are more than happy to help. Within this section it also covers accessibility. Alexia one of our directors is disabled so making sure we are accessible for as many people is really close to her heart. She also understands that everyones disabilities affects them differently and everyones access needs differ. If there is anything we have missed that would make your experience with us more accessible and comfortable for you please let us know before your appointment so we can try our best to accommodate your needs.

Via Foot

This option is only safe if you are travelling from New Barn or the neighbouring villages due to the lack of safe pathways and street lighting after dark. This may not be a safe option to anyone coming from Southfleet due to no footpaths on the New Barn Road.

Via Public Transport

Public transport near us doesn’t have too many options but we do have bus stops servicing the 489 as well as a train station just over a mile away. If you need to use busses or trains to get to us please feel free to ask for the best routes and we will be happy to help.

Via Car

This will be your easiest option if you aren’t within walking distance to us. We are halfway down Pescot Avenue on the left just after the second streetlight. We have a White House with a driveway going slightly down hill. There is a gravel parking area with signs that say "Nail Sanctuary Parking" This is the best place for you to park. On the rare occasion there is limited parking outside our house please give us a call and we will direct you to the next best place to park. This is FREE parking at your own risk.

Once you’ve arrived for every appointment please give us a call/message and we will come to greet you at the front door to let you in. This is a home and we will need to guide you to the salon each time.

Accessibility

In order to get into the property you will need to go down a slight slope and then there are two small steps to get into the property. If you require a ramp please let us know when you book your appointment so we can accommodate your needs. The doorways are wide enough to fit through most standard size wheelchairs and rollators. If you use a mobility aid that is wider than a standard doorway you may not be able to get in but please contact us as we will always try our best to accommodate any needs. We have a toilet that is accessible with a standard rollator or wheelchair. In our toilet we have a height adjustable raised toilet seat with handles. However we do not have child/adult changing facilities so please keep this in mind. With any accessible appointments please let us know at the time of booking so we can include extra time so you can have as many breaks from sitting still getting your nails done as you need. We are happy to provide any information regarding the products we use as well as provide any additional equipment to help with any sensory needs.
